A New Crop of Innovation: AgroLiquid Merges With Monty’s

A powerful new force is taking root in sustainable agriculture. AgroLiquid has officially acquired Monty’s Plant Food, merging two innovators with a shared mission: helping farmers grow more while protecting the planet. The deal takes effect January 1, 2025, and promises to reshape how the world nourishes its crops.

This merger is not just a business move. It is a statement. With global agriculture under mounting pressure to balance productivity and sustainability, AgroLiquid and Monty’s aim to lead a new era of precision and performance in eco-farming.

From its base in Michigan, AgroLiquid has built its reputation on liquid fertilizers that cut waste and boost efficiency. Monty’s, founded in Kentucky in 1997, made its mark by improving soil health and nutrient uptake. Together, their complementary strengths form a comprehensive toolkit for farmers seeking both yield and environmental responsibility.

“This is more than growth. It is transformation,” said AgroLiquid CEO Nick Bancroft. “By aligning our technologies and expanding our reach, we are helping farmers thrive in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape.” Monty’s CEO Jeff Sangalli echoed the sentiment: “Our commitment to farmers has always guided us. This partnership amplifies that mission on a global scale.”

While both brands will operate independently through 2025, integration is already underway. AgroLiquid is expanding production with a new Florida facility, and Monty’s strong foothold in Brazil, Nigeria, and Central America opens new paths for global expansion.

Industry watchers call the move a watershed moment for crop nutrition. As agriculture shifts toward smarter, greener methods, AgroLiquid and Monty’s are positioning themselves at the forefront, not just keeping pace with change but cultivating it.

The merger signals more than market growth. It marks a new era of collaboration grounded in science, innovation, and soil. As the next growing season dawns, farmers and industry leaders alike are watching closely to see what this powerful alliance will yield.
